Virtual Pilates Monday

Calendar Jun 15, 2020 at 5 pm, runs for 4 weeks

If you’d like to register, please add yourself to the waitlist for the class/es of your choice. There is no limit to the number of additional classes you would like to register for.

Pilates:

Pilates goes beyond surface muscles and targets the deep muscles of the abdominals and lower back. Through Pilates, the core gets stronger than with any other form of exercise. A strong core is the key ingredient to  improved posture, balance, athletic performance, and a healthy back. Each class involves breathing techniques, series of abdominal and toning exercises.  This is an open level class.  The instructor will modify the exercises to meet the needs of the individuals.

 

Class meets Monday evenings on the following dates between 5:00pm-6:00pm via Zoom.

BOOTCAMP: 

Get in shape “boot camp” style! Experience high-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper & lower body, specifically designed to “make it rain” sweat! From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises. This class is geared to improve cardiovascular stamina, core strength, & flexibility all while relieving stress and aggression in a positive way.

Class meets Monday evenings on the following dates between 6:10pm-7:10pm via Zoom.

Virtual Beginner Yoga Tuesdays

 Beginner Yoga:

Vinyasa is a dynamic and a traditional style of yoga that uses sun salutations and Ujayi breathing to link poses into a creative and continuous flow. This practice cultivates awareness, mindfulness and presence. Sequencing and poses are alignment oriented which develops strength, flexibility and balance in equal proportions. It will take you on a journey through traditional poses and focus on the Vinyasa practice. This class is open to all levels, but is geared for beginners. 

Participants must bring thier own mat. Yoga blocks and straps are optional.  

Class meets Tuesday morning on the following dates between 8:00am-9:00am via Zoom.

The Zumba® Fitness/Zumba® Toning class combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba® moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party! During the last 30 minutes of the class, students learn how to use 1 - 3 lb. hand weights to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs, glutes and thighs. Our Zumba® Fitness/Zumba® Toning combo class is the perfect way for enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while enjoying the classic dance cardio party! 

Participants must bring their own 1-3 lb. hand weights.

This class is aimed at bringing the body, breath, and mind into balance through a series of classic Vinyasa yoga flow poses at the beginner and intermediate levels. This practice cultivates awareness, mindfulness and presence. Sequencing and poses are alignment oriented which develops strength, flexibility and balance in equal proportions. Appropriate modifications and use of introduced and emphasized.  

Participants must bring their own mat. Yoga blocks and straps are optional.
